1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Claw ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Claw provides a personal AI assistant hosted on an isolated server container, accessible via a Telegram bot. The AI is powered by third-party providers (Anthropic, OpenAI) using your own API key or subscription.

3. Account & Access

• You must have a valid Telegram account to use the Service.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your API keys and authentication credentials.
• One subscription = one personal assistant instance. Sharing access is not permitted.

4. AI Usage & Responsibility

• The AI assistant acts on your behalf using your API credentials. You are responsible for the actions it performs and the costs incurred with your AI provider.
• We do not control or monitor the content of your conversations with the AI.
• You agree not to use the Service for illegal activities, harassment, or generating harmful content.

5. Payment & Billing

• Payments are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles VAT, sales tax, and compliance.
• Subscriptions are billed annually. Prices are listed on our Pricing page.

6. Service Availability

We aim for high uptime but do not guarantee 100% availability. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance. We will notify you of planned downtime when possible.

7. Data & Privacy

Your data is handled according to our Privacy Policy. Each user's container is isolated. We do not access your conversations or API keys unless required for technical support with your explicit permission.

8. Termination

• You may cancel your subscription at any time. Your container will remain active until the end of the billing period.
• We may terminate your account if you violate these terms, with notice where possible.
• Upon termination, your container and all data are deleted within 30 days.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is". We are not liable for any damages arising from AI outputs, API provider outages, data loss, or service interruptions. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via Telegram.
